Esse has collaborated with local sustainable makers to produce a line of in house SA Made, Bio-Furniture.
Bio-Epoxy is a carbon sequestering natural plant based Epoxy that is non toxic, non yellowing, Marine Grade, Food Grade and highly versatile for indoor or outdoor use.
Shells Collection is an Australian brand in VIC who collect Hospitality eggshell waste, clean it, crush it and distribute it in a crushed from for manufacturing. (Eggshells are also carbon sequestering.)
The leather is supplied by Ideal Shoe Repairer on Hutt Street in Adelaide who provide the waste from their machine in powder form for reuse and recycling.
Glass is sourced from the offcuts from designers at the Jam Factory, SA and wine bottles from various local sources.
Bases are ordered from Sustainable FSC Certified timber by Industrial Designer and small business owner Matthew from VividDesign in VIC.
Together, these elements are combined in SA to create a carbon sequestering, bio based, table for Hospitality, Home and Office fit outs that are durable and aesthetically provide a sustainable story and a flat packable shipping option.
